Hi all, I'm currently on Finasteride and I've been on it for about 4 months now. It has helped my symptoms, which I've noticed a couple times a week since starting the treatment. It's been a blessing and I can't have the same level of discomfort and hair loss as I used to. I'm hoping that it will help some people with the same issue, but I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience or experiences with these.
My hair loss is back within a week of the start of treatment and I'm trying to find a treatment option that works for me. I've been on Finasteride for about 4 months and I'm noticing significant changes in my hair growth. My hair is falling out on my head regularly (my hair is only 3/40 of a full head), but I'm not noticing any changes in my hair as it has not changed much. The only noticeable change is the new hair fall that I have. I don't know if it's permanent but it seems like the new head is starting to fall out again.
Thanks for the detailed information guys, I will check with my doctor about this. I will definitely discuss the issue with my doctor.
Thanks in advance for the kind words
Nancy

I have taken finasteride and propecia for about a year now and I'm seeing the same results. The only difference I see is the hair fall and the hair growth are less noticeable. I think that the new hair fall and the new hair growth would be more noticeable. I think that the new hair growth would be more noticeable and I think that the new hair growth will be more noticeable.

In women, DHT is less potent and can lead to hair loss. Propecia, the active ingredient in Proscar, is the same active ingredient in Propecia and finasteride.
